Vintage Bauer Pottery Teapot
Description and Item Information
Up for sale is this vintage Bauer pottery teapot. Please excuse the glare in the photos. This Monterey Moderne teapot has a glossy, green glaze. It is about 6 1/2 inches tall, 9 3/4 inches long, and 5 1/2 inches wide. Unpacked, it weighs 2 pounds 1.4 ounces. This piece would be a nice addition to a collection of vintage California pottery.
Identification
This teapot is guaranteed to be vintage Bauer pottery of Los Angeles, California. It is unmarked.
Condition
The teapot looks good overall. There is a tiny (about 1/16 inch) glaze fleabite to the tip of the spout. To the belly of the teapot, there is a very small (less than 1/8 inch) contact mark to the glaze, where it fractured/flaked slightly. There are a few very fine craze lines to the glaze. There is light wear overall, with some scattered, minor scratches and scuffs. Variations in glaze application are as made. Please review the description and photos, and ask any necessary questions prior to bidding or buying.

1. Payments
Taxes may be applicable. The correct shipping address must be included with payment. Contact the seller before bidding or buying to find out about acceptable payment methods for local pickups or deliveries. Payments must be received within three days of the end of the listing, unless prior arrangements have been made.
2. Shipping
Good packaging is included; double-boxing is not necessarily included. Framed art will not be shipped unframed. The seller usually ships on Mondays and Thursdays. The merchandise will normally be shipped on the seller's next shipping day after payment clears. The seller is not responsible for the transit time once the merchandise has been accepted by the shipping carrier.
Shipping includes delivery to a physical address via a method of the seller's choice. If the buyer prefers a different shipping method other than that chosen by the seller, or if delivery is to a post office box, additional shipping costs may be required. At the seller's discretion, a signature may be required for delivery.
Shipping quotes must be requested prior to all international bidding or buying. For international shipping, there may be parcel size restrictions or prohibitions on certain classes of merchandise. Customs forms will not be falsified.
International buyers, please note: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
