  • Condition: What is there is in very good condition--it does have a slight bow--I'm not sure but it looks as if some of the latch might have been broken off at some point?--just a beautifully cast piece! I would guess that it has been cleaned up and repainted at some point. See below for dimensional details

    Description

    Antique vintage ornate design cast iron door latch backplate assembly. Size is 12 3/16 long by not quite 2 3/4 inches wide. The latch bar sticks out about 1 1'2 inches. There are 4 mounting holes--a hole at thye top that looks to be a key hole---and two holes below the latch--one of which I assume to be for a doorknob--don't know what the other is for Please email me if you have any questions or if you would like to see any additional photos of particular area.
