The plate is perfectly straight, and is still very strong, and ready for another lifetime of service.

    Vintage Distressed Solid Brass Push Plate
    Charming, vintage push plate salvaged from Northeastern Ohio. It's made of solid brass and has squared corners.
    Normally, we would clean plates with marks and an uneven patina, but since this has a cool, industrial look and some folks prefer this look; we decided to keep the price lower by and let you decide.
