Women are losing trust in government

Opinion: Anyone who has been in a relationship or workplace when trust has gone knows its value. It’s that elusive oil that makes everything easy. When it’s gone – and that can happen quickly – it’s replaced with second guessing, control, micromanagement, accusations and conflict.
It’s almost painful to observe examples of trust eroding in public life. For example, the new Commissioner of Health NZ, Lester Levy, publicly rebuking his chief executive. If trust is not rebuilt, it never ends well.
